Erik Scott de Bie has long had a passion for writing that extends back as far as
grade school - about the same time that he discovered a treasured Basic D&D
set and the Forgotten Realms line of novels.
Since then, when offered the choice between writing homework and writing fiction,
the winning bet was obvious... so long as he didn't completely lose himself in
the worlds his imagination conceived.

When he's not busy writing, Erik enjoys reading, hiking, fencing, philosophy,
sword collecting, tennis, and more writing. His mortal shell currently abides in
Seattle with his lovely wife Shelley, an indeterminate number of pets, and
entirely too many books.
